How It Began
Our Story
Two perspectives. One love story.
The Bride's Perspective
Idara's Story
I never believed in love at first sight — until the evening of our mutual friend Titi's dinner party. He walked in late, confident but unhurried, and somehow found his way to the empty chair beside me.
We talked for three hours straight. About Lagos traffic, about dreams, about the kind of music that makes you feel less alone. By the end of the night, I knew something had shifted — though I wouldn't dare admit it for another week.
Two years later, here we are. He still makes me laugh at the worst possible moments, and I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world.
The Groom's Perspective
Ubong's Story
I almost didn't go to that dinner. Titi had to call me twice. And then I walked in and saw her — laughing at something someone had said, completely unbothered by the world around her.
I sat next to her and did the only thing I knew: I made her laugh harder. She rolled her eyes the first time. By the third time, she was laughing properly — the kind that takes over completely.
I knew that night I wanted to spend my life being the reason for that laugh. I'm glad I picked up Titi's second call.
